Immortal è una compilation, pubblicata il 21 novembre 2011 (il 22 Novembre in Italia). La compilation è la colonna sonora di Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour by Cirque du Soleil, che ha debuttato il 2 ottobre 2011 a Montreal. Nel luglio 2009 il produttore del cantante, Kevin Antunes, ha affermato di avere progetti postumi per Michael Jackson legati fino al 2017. Per ora ne sono stati pubblicati tre: This Is It, pubblicato il 27 ottobre 2009, Michael, pubblicato il 10 dicembre 2010 e infine Immortal il 21 novembre 2011. Il 3 ottobre 2011, Sony Music Entertainment ha annunciato che oltre 40 brani di Michael Jackson sono stato ridisegnati e ripensati dal produttore Kevin Antunes, che un anno intero è stato a lavorare sulle tracce. Quindi ci si aspetta che Immortal continuerà una produzione analoga di miscelazione per le colonne sonore per spettacoli precedenti del Cirque du Soleil. Distribuito dalla Epic in collaborazione con Estate di Michael Jackson, Immortal presenta una versione alternativa della canzone dei Jackson 5 "ABC", nonché una serie di mash up e remix, e un Coro che Michael aveva fatto preparare di "They Don't Care About Us".Nonostante oltre 60 brani erano stati utilizzati per lo spettacolo , l'uscita del disco sarà disponibile con una edizione standard avente 20 tracce o una deluxe con 27 tracce. Immortal è il secondo album Postumo di Michael Jackson.
